Put your booking link on Google Maps

Add a Book button to your Google Business Profile and your Apple Maps listing, so people who find you on a map can book without calling.

Most new customers meet a local business on a map before they ever see its website. Both Google and Apple let a verified business add its own booking link to the listing, free, with no partnership. Your bot has a link made for exactly this.

Add it to Google Business Profile

You need a verified Business Profile. If you can already edit your opening hours on Google, you have one.

1

Open your profile

Signed in to the Google account that manages the business, search Google for your business name, or open it in the Google Maps app. Choose Edit profile.

2

Go to Bookings

Open the Bookings section and choose Add link. If another booking tool already added a link, choose Add another link.

3

Paste the Google link and save

Paste the Google link from the share dialog and save. Google can take a few minutes, sometimes longer, to show it.

4

Make it the preferred link

If the listing shows more than one booking link, choose Set preferred link and pick yours, so it is the one behind the Book button.

No Bookings section?

Google offers booking links to business categories that take appointments. If yours has none, check that the primary category on the profile describes what you do, such as hair salon, barber shop or beauty salon.

Add it to Apple Maps

Apple Maps is the default on every iPhone. Listings are managed in Apple Business Connect, which is free.

1

Open your location

Sign in to Apple Business Connect at businessconnect.apple.com, choose Locations, and open your location. If you have not claimed it yet, claim it first; Apple verifies you by phone or documents.

2

Add an action

Next to Actions, choose Add, then add an action link. Pick the booking action that fits, such as Book or Schedule appointment.

3

Paste the Apple link and save

Paste the Apple link from the share dialog, choose Add, then Save.

Apple reviews every link

A new action link appears on your listing only after Apple approves it, which can take up to three business days. Customers need iOS 17.4 or later to see it.

What customers see

Tapping Book on your listing opens a page with your business name and one button per channel you offer. It follows the same switches as your share link. With more than one channel connected, the share dialog lists them under Where this link sends people; a channel you turn off there is off here too, and turning every channel off retires both links.

The link never changes. Reconnect WhatsApp, switch to a new Telegram bot or add a channel later, and the listing keeps working without another visit to Google or Apple.

Publish before you paste

While a bot is a draft or unpublished, the page says the business is not taking messages right now. Google checks booking links from time to time, so add the link once the bot is live.
